Frank Kriksic

Frank joined RWDI in 1984 "because I needed a job after graduating." For the first six months, he built models then did some pencil-on-paper drafting in pre-auto-CAD days. He has since become one of Canada's foremost microclimate experts with years of experience consulting on wind, snow and air quality effects.

"Clients used to call and say, 'I need a snow study or wind study.' Today, they call us and say, 'I have a project and I need your insight. Tell me how RWDI can help.' This is part of the trend toward looking at buildings in a more integrated, more sustainable way."

In Frank's future he sees an A-frame cottage on the Bruce Peninsula in northern Ontario, a secluded haven with private woods, fabulous sunsets and close to great ship wrecks for scuba diving. "I'm not quite there yet," says Frank. "but I'm counting on it."
