RWDI

Derek joined RWDI in 1998 as a Technical Co-ordinator.  In 2002, he became a Senior Engineer with the firm, specializing in studies of wind effects on high-rise buildings, stadiums, arenas, and long span or flexible structures.  In 2004, Derek became a Project Manager, and in 2011 he became a Principal.  In 1999, Derek completed his M.Eng. studies at McMaster University.   His research involved comparing full-scale turbulence properties to those simulated in the wind tunnel. Derek is a licensed professional engineer in the province of Ontario.
