Bridge Sectional Model Study

Sectional Model Studies provide fundamental aerodynamic data required for various bridge studies.

This test would start with a preliminary “fatal-flaw” test with the objective of finding a bridge cross section that would meet the stability criteria. Basic aerodynamic data can also be extracted such as static force and moment coefficients and aerodynamic derivatives required by the subsequent 3D Flutter and 3D Buffeting Analysis.
