  • RainScreen V2.1: A user friendly application of designers of cladding systems implementing design principles of pressure equalized rain screens. 
  • Smoke-In: A user friendly application for facilitating the preprocessing of emission inventories to be used with the Sparse Matrix Operator Kernel Emissions (SMOKE) Modeling System. 
  • Bridge Inspection DB Application: A database application used by an inspection services organization for the collecting and reporting on the state of health of bridge structures. 
  • EI Viewer: A user friendly GIS application for visualizing emission data from SMOKE-In.  EI-View is a tool designed to provide the user with a means to preview either countrywide or gridded emissions before being processed through SMOKE.

Major Internal Success Stories Include:

  • Data Portal Integration: A set of web based technologies which embody the delivery of business information of the organization.
  • SPAN System: A distributed data acquisition system integrating electronic pressure scanners.  This system is used by RWDI in its boundary layer wind tunnel facilities.
  • Wind Loading / Structural Assist: An integrated AutoCAD solution for preparing load-case data to be used by the engineers of RWDI when determining loads on large span roof structures. 
  • MicroClimate: Pedestrian Level Winds Menu and Thermal Comfort capabilities.
  • Snow Loading: Finite Area Element modeling generates wind flow patterns over a roof then simulates a number of winters to extrapolate a snow loading value by section along the roof.
  • Exhaust Re-entrainment: Wind Wake Knowledge Base used for preliminary investigation of exhaust re-entrainment problems.
  • Environment: FDP (Field Data Processor) is an application for the processing of field data collection by Campbell Scientific data loggers.  This application implements analytical methods required for many of RWDI's field monitoring services.
  • Baseball Trajectory: A method encapsulating the dynamics of baseballs as they fly through the air.  This application is used when investigating the nature of home run hit balls within baseball stadiums.
